Lucien and Ari have driven a quarter of a million miles together, working across more than a dozen states. Everywhere they went, they heard the same story: homeowners excitedly signed contracts for solar, only to be met with delays, broken promises, and systems that never performed as expected. Sales companies often oversell production potential and overestimate tax credits while downplaying the realities of system performance. Worse yet, when the systems failed to deliver, the fine print in contracts left homeowners with little recourse.

After years of working in the industry, including Lucien's experience co-owning a solar installation company, they realized that the system was broken. Ari, who had risen from apprentice to a peer unparalleled in Lucien’s time in the trade, was at his side every step of the way during their five years running the business. Together, they saw the detrimental effects of predatory sales practices, burnout from industry norms, and the financial strain caused by COVID-19, all of which led them to close the company.

Now, with renewed focus and a commitment to serving forgotten customers, they launched Off Grid Solutions. Initially operating across three states 2,000 miles apart, Lucien and Ari recently decided to focus exclusively on Colorado. This shift allows them to concentrate their efforts and resources in a single area, ensuring the highest level of service for their customers. Colorado’s ample opportunities for solar and electrical work, combined with their passion for ethical service, make it the perfect place to continue their mission.
